Atina Petrova founded the Elite Musica classical instruments entertainment agency in 1997.

Classical instruments are very flexible and create calming and serene background music-the perfect choice for your engagement party, wedding, dinner or birthday party, corporate event, anniversaries.

We work with the best classical and jazz musicians from Durban and surroundings to provide you with live music and to create that excellent enchanted ambience for your function. We perform in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, South and North Coast and throughout KwaZulu-Natal.

The two principal members of Elite Musica ensemble are:

Atina Petrova
Atina qualified with a Master's degree at the Bulgarian State Academy of Music-Sofia (formerly Conservatoire), Bulgaria. She has participated in many radio and TV broadcasts in Europe. Atina has won several national music competitions, including the Laureate International Competition. She was sub-principal for the KZNPO from 1990. In 1998 she left her full time position, and plays with the Orchestra on ad hoc basis. Atina concentrates on her own solo career, as well as having a very busy teaching schedule, performs extensively throughout KwaZulu-Natal as a solo violinist and with other musicians.

Dana Hadjiev
Dana plays the piano. She was born in Bulgaria and studied music under the guidance or Professor Anton Dikov, at the Bulgarian State Academy of Music-Sofia. In 1995 she obtained MA and achieved the highest grade in chamber music. During her study, she was invited to attend international master course with Prof. Vladimir Romanov and was selected to play in the final concert broadcasted directly on National Television. Her first performance as a soloist was at age of ten and since then she has appeared on Bulgarian national and international musical stage on numerous occasions. Currently, she is professional piano teacher and freelance accompanist.
